It's been a long time, I shouldn't of left you without a dope beat to step to

Sorry I've been gone! As you know, I came up with this idea to do a photo blog a day. But....it didn't happen. So I'm starting fresh right now. I thought I'd try to make up for all the days lost, but that's about two weeks and it'll never happen.

I started my new job (woohoo!) a couple weeks ago. Between James hogging the laptop when I suddenly want to use it and me falling asleep at 8:00 or 8:30, it's been hard. But I'm ready to go.

So: here is my photo blog for Sunday, October 25th.

These pictures are actually from last Sunday, October 18th. As you know, I decided to once again partake in the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco. I did the half marathon. All for the beloved Tiffany's necklace.

This year I was planning on taking a pic of all the mile markers again, but I got bored with that around 10.

I was better prepared this year. And my better preparation consisted of my cool shoes and Dri Fit Socks. Nothing more. I didn't train. I got lazy. Again. BUT the shoes and Dri Fit Socks completely prevented any blisters (unlike last year) which therefore decreased my total time by about 19 minutes. :)

Of course, my name was once again displayed on the window at Nike Town.

As a result of this being my second year doing this, I am now addicted. I plan to register for next year as well. Anyone else wanna do it with me?

We can have $1250 delivered today

Thank the Google Gods for a good spam filter on GMail. Because if these somehow got through to my inbox, I seriously might take my laptop out to the highest deck in my house and throw it into the back yard. What the picture doesn't show is that these are coming in every 12-17 minutes. In fact, another just came in!! And if this wasn't bad enough, my spam folder had over 130 of these earlier today.

the best $7.49 I ever spent (photo blog for Saturday)

I have the driest itchiest skin on the planet. I have been on a mission for years trying to find a lotion that is not greasy, helps make my legs not so itchy, and has a nice smell to it.

I promise you I have tried just about everything that is stocked at Target, Wal-Mart, Bath and Body Works, The Body Shop, Safeway, and Walgreens. Nothing has worked.

Now my search is over. I bought this at Target last night and so far it is my favorite possession surpassing my iPod and my Coach. All because my legs stopped itching almost instantly from the minute I put it on, it smells nice, and my skin is soft and not greasy.

Those crazy uff da speakers are geniuses when it comes to lotion. Thank you Norwegians!

I'm addicted

to the Belmont Library. I have gone there every day for the past four days. Why? Because there are soooo many books I want to read.

This year I have started approximately nine books. I have finished four. The four that I finished probably shouldn't even count because it's the four that make up the Twilight Saga.

Now I have these three books. And they're all due between October 29th through the 31st. What the hell am I gonna do??

7 (more) things (I hate about Miley Cyrus)

I would like to know who's idea it was to give this skankzilla her own clothing line. Although, I really shouldn't be so surprised. After all, it is at Wal-Mart (click here!!!). No, I'm not saying that Wal-Mart is trashy. I'm just saying that a good amount of people that shop there are. However, people I know and myself are obviously excluded from that "good amount".

Feast your eyes on these amazing pieces.

I really wish I had the balls to take pictures of the clothes on the racks today when I went to Wal-Mart. I was just afraid that Miley Cyrus would pop out and sing Party in the USA and confiscate my camera.

all is quiet on the home front (photo blog)

This is a picture of my inbox on my cell phone. I know it's a bit blurry, but you get the idea.

No messages.

OK, so maybe you probably are thinking "so?". But that means I didn't talk to my bff today.

So I just wanted to take the opportunity to say "hey hooker! i'll text you tomorrow!".

Belmont rocks

Man, I love this little city I live in. At first I only liked it. That's because there's a lot of people with money here. And I don't have any.

But then Danny started school. And he has what I never had. An entire set of school books just for home. I know that might not be a big deal to most people because they didn't grow up in Hayward where we sometimes couldn't take the sadly outdated books out of the class room because there weren't enough for all the students.

Then today was the icing on the cake. I went to the Belmont Library to check out a book for my sociology final. After I got my new library card, I saw tons of CD's. Sweet! I kinda almost forgot that libraries have DVD's and CD's.

The Belmont library has an impressive catalog to say the least. The DVD's range from educational crap to Nip/Tuck, Queer As Folk, and Sex and the City.

The CD's are just as cool. I tried not to act like a kid in a candy store and grab everything I wanted. So here's what I came out with. :) Go Belmont and your high tax payers!!

WTF "101"

As you know, I've been unemployed since February. Since then, I've gone to countless interviews with little to no luck. It's been a little hard on my ego.

Yesterday I had an interview at a company in South City (South San Francisco for you non Bay Area folks) with little hopes. I was just exhausted from going to so many interviews with nothing cool in return.

I was directed to sit in the conference room and the interviewer would be in shortly. I knew this was going to be a cool company because this was on the white board:

The interview went well, just like the others. So I didn't put any hope into it.

But today they called me and I got the job. Woohoo!!

And that concludes my photo blog of the day - for yesterday. :)

yay!! (photo blog)

I love love love make up. Sometimes I buy eye shadows knowing they're not my color and I will probably never wear them. But then I think that maybe I'll learn how to do make up in a cool way and someday I'll be able to use them.

I just brought this home.

I got really excited when I went to Ulta and saw it because it looks even better in person than in the ad!

Here's the inside. oooohhh....ahhh.....

I am in love.

Ulta.com describes it as, "Find everything you need to create any look in one kit. Choose from pink, bronze or black. Kit includes: 32 eyeshadows, 12 lip colors, 6 cheek colors, 4 full size lipsticks, 2 mini lipglosses, 2 pot glosses, 2 shimmer powders, 2 eye shadow quads, 2 concealers, 2 dual ended liners, 2 brushes, train case with mirror and applicators."

If you want more to buy one, go here. The best part is it's only $25 or $20 if you have the $5 off coupon. :) Happy shopping!

Obama-ized

There's a cool app on Facebook that lets you Obama-ize your pics.

And since I haven't done anything today that's cool enough for a photo blog, this is what you get.

I'll be leaving soon to go see Paranormal Activity. :)

Until tomorrow...

Paranormal Activity

This is my ticket for two to see Paranormal Activity at the Metreon in The City tomorrow night.

Billed to be "the scariest movie ever", it better be good.

I'll let you on Sunday. If it's really scary, my photo blog will probably be of a pair of peed in pants.

PS, it's bullshit that this posted as Saturday. Because I didn't go to sleep yet, so it's still TECHNICALLY Friday night.

brotherly love

As you know, Cameron moved last weekend. Tonight he called us asking to help him go shopping for some furniture. After an extensive amount of time spent at Ikea, we decided it was time to eat.

You'd think there would be a million restaurants down El Camino Real..considering in runs from somewhere north of San Francisco all the way down to San Diego. But no. There are a million bars.

As we were driving, we see the sign for Jack's Prime. I said, "Hey! Let's go there."

Cameron starts laughing and says his sister works there. And sure enough, she's working.

So we flip around, park, and go in. When she saw him she got all excited. It was cute. Anyway - we order our burgers and soda and talk for a little bit.

When we're done, she apologizes to us for not being about to get us a better discount. We laugh because we didn't come for the free food.

Our bill was $25.00 and some change. Cameron decided he wanted to tip her well. So he left a $100 bill in the bill thing and we walked out.

That is brotherly love. It made me smile to know that he did that for her. :)

The end.
